The French an Indian War

Many people could thing that this war was between the French and the Indian, but it was not between them indeed it was a binding between the two of them to defeat the British. At Europe this war was called the ¨Seven year War.¨ Between the years 1756-1757, The french destroyed many forts at Lake Ontario, and on Lake George. By the Indian part they raid raid several several settlements on the Frontier, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, and so this weakend The British, but years later the war shifted in 1758-1759, when the English made  great tactical move by blocking Shipments from the French carying supplies to them as gun powder, ammo uniforms, food, and so as this happen the Indian left the French beacuse they had nothing to trade. This finally allowed the British to capture several forts from the French that protected the entrance to Saint Lawrence River, and later capture Quebec in 1759, later the British keep moving down and in 1760 captured Montreal. As this happened they forced the French Governor to surrender the rest of Canada and forts in th Great Lakes, and in 1963 the treaty of Paris was signed telling that the Brits had won. So the Mississippi River became the bounding between the British and French.

The Colonists Political Heritage

The Colonists said Great Britain had the best government on earth. British liberties believed in due process of common law. Law administration of justice according to establishes rules and principles have freedom of press, from prior censorship. 
Above all the colony did not payed taxes, unless it was levied by their own representatives. Colonial government followed British model. But protests in 1760 revealed that there were important differences between colonial government and British government.
